SUMMARY:DCS Suitcase Drive and Ice Cream Social 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Clarksville Association of REALTORS® Helping Hands and YPN Committees are hosting a DCS Suitcase Drive and Ice Cream Social on Tuesday\, July 14th\, 2026 from 3pm - 5pm at the Clarksville Association of REALTORS®! Donations will benefit the Montgomery County Department of Child Services and help support children in foster care in our area. Many children enter or transition through foster care with very few belongings\, and some have to carry their clothing and personal items in trash bags. Through this drive\, we are collecting needed items and monetary donations to help fill 50 suitcases with essentials these children can call their own. Monetary donations will be used to purchase items from the wish list shared in our event graphics. Members are invited to stop by CAR on July 14th for the Ice Cream Social\, which will also serve as YPN Committee’s Quarter 3 Quarterly Connect! This event is the perfect opportunity to drop off physical donations\, enjoy a sweet treat\, connect with YPN Committee and Helping Hands Committee members\, as well as fellow REALTORS® and Affiliates. Best of all\, attendees who donate items to the DCS Suitcase drive will have the chance to enter the basket giveaway sponsored by Foreman Watson Land Title! Can't join in on the fun on July 14th? Donations can also be dropped off at CAR during office hours (Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm) for anyone who is unable to attend. Contact Kat at CAR with questions.
