This THDA First-Time Homebuyer Class will cover the THDA mortgage loan programs from a realtor's perspective and will answer the following questions: How does a buyer obtain a THDA loan? What are the guidelines for a THDA loan, and who sets those guidelines? What are the exceptions to these guidelines? What does a realtor need to know about the THDA Great Advantage and Great Start programs, which include either 2% or 4% down payment assistance? Do all of my buyers have to be first-time homebuyers or can they own a house now and still be eligible? Who is a first-time homebuyer, and what is a targeted area?
